Reporting a wrong figure

This is the most useful thing you can send. To get it fixed fastest, include three things: which page, which number, and the authority's own page you are comparing it against. Every figure on this site cites where it came from and when it was checked, on sources, so the comparison is usually quick to make.

Rules change and a figure verified some months ago may have moved since. That is a real error rather than an acceptable one, and it is worth telling us about.

Suggesting a calculator

Worth sending, particularly if you can say what decision it would help you make. The calculators here exist because a specific question came up often enough to be worth answering properly.

What cannot be answered

Personal financial advice. Whether to take a particular mortgage, whether to buy a particular house, or what to do about a particular debt are all questions that need somebody who knows your full circumstances and is qualified and regulated to advise on them. That is not this site, and answering anyway would be worse than not answering.
